Thanks to oldmanmusing.com, there is the periodic table of cartoons.
Give me the name of two to three cartoon characters and the element they represent.
I love this little tool. I think it would be very interesting to see if it helped students remember the periodic table, or not. I always had a hard time remembering the periodic table, and I would often come up with cute and stupid ways to remember the different elements and their symbols. And here is a whole site full of that type of device!
I'm late here but it is an amazing way to remember the elements. As a student I would go through all of these and be way more engaged studying something like this than the normal table of elements. I loved the idea of relating elements to popular movies just to make it seem more interesting to them and hopefully allow them to draw the connection between different elements and "real life". I'm totally using that meme creator in my class :D

I agree, this tool is a really neat way to help kids visualize the Periodic Table. I'd never seen this before! I could definitely see myself using it.
